grace

To remind her about the lake at home, when the moon is full
To repeat and repeat that I love her
To advise that life is imperfect, beautiful, risky, brief

I never tire of looking close at the work of your hands and heart.

So beautiful. Do you use batting in these handstitched quilts, Judy? Or just two layers of fabric? They're just marvelous.

There is cotton batting in this piece.

The indigo dyed side is linen.
The purple side is rayon on top, cotton on the bottom.

It's a small piece, but has a wonderful texture.

Thanks for your comments.

lovely. lovely gift and marker of time.

Drank my coffee yesterday morning visiting your other blog, got mesmerized in your star patterns of light dark, color, texture... suddenly my coffee was stone cold. Beautiful visit.

Very inspiring, I have all those indigo pieces from my workshop in Japan, I now know what I might do with them.
