how I spent Canada Day

At the cottage.
for Canada Day - July 1
Our son and his family visited.
We made a cake for Canada's birthday and blew out the candles.
We made two more flags for our expanding family.
 I didn't stitch.
(much)
The kids page was updated a couple of weeks ago, for those interested.

Good Morning, Judy.
Yesterday, I subscribed to your feed, when I realized that I was only hearing of posts through FB. I enjoyed peeking into your Canada celebration and seeing your adorable family. That baby is a cutie. You are truly blessed.

Greetings from New York City where we celebrated the Fourth with the usual fireworks display. I took photographs from the 14 story building roof of a friends and they turned into glorious abstractions as if seen through the eyes of a building guard who is the figure in all of them, and we had some delicious food and an early night.

I visited the kids blog and fell in love with every being there so left a loving greeting in the comment section.

Thank you for sharing so much.

How lucky you are to be Canadian! Happy 150th Birthday. Maybe some of your collective sanity will trickle down to us here below you, in the deepening swamp. xx
