big stitch trip

As happens when the gaudy linen's picked
shred after shred away
 the purple there

phoenician red, most brilliant of all dyes,
is lost asunder
ravelled thread by thread
Hence canst perceive the fragments die away
from out their colours
long ere they depart
back to the old primodials of things

Lucretius....of the nature of things

  1. Beautiful scenery to go along with your wonderful stitching. The stitching weaves together the assorted parts nicely. Very inspiring! Thanks.
