Thank you.The velvet is quite difficult to work with. I'm using foundation cloth to stabilize small sections of the stitching and that is helping.In regard to the Matisse quote: I'm beginning my mornings with stitching and drawing. This is really productive. Computer stuff comes later in the day. x
Love the quote. Made me think too of Vincent cutting his ear ioff. Silence craves us as much as some of us crave It. The velvet work, so sensual & comforting. I sense tthe earth rhythms and makes me muss the warm silky ears of my little dog. Powerful.
