"Once I was beset by anxiety.
I couldn't tell right from left.
I could have cried out with terror at being lost.
But I pushed the fear away by studying the sky,
determining where the moon would come out
where the sun would appear in the morning.
I saw myself in relation to the stars.
I began weeping and knew I was alright."

these seem so right just now.
That humongous sigh of contentment and awe that you just heard was me...
Perfect pairimg - Your work, and L.B. quote - Both simple and potent.
this conjures a thought from emily dickinson: "snow"
It sifts from leaden sieves,
It powders all the wood,
It fills with alabaster wool
The wrinkles of the road.
I pushed the fear away by studying the sky...Blessings for Epiphany...and thank you.
yes judy, the moon and the stars!connected over the miles , perhaps by the moon and the stars?
the indigo is lovely
oh this is so beautiful seeing both you and Roz working with the moon and stars...the synchronicity...
I feel identified with these words at this moment.
Why the pieces are mounted on paper?
These stitchings are mounted on 300 lb watercolour paper with stitch.
I am going to frame these pieces in shadow-boxes.
