innocent and eager

I remember my boy like this.

And I know that he is still like this, even as he maintains his professional life in the city, even as he re-builds from the inside a Toronto house, even though he is getting married to Erika in less than two weeks.

We are all like this, inside.

parents always remember their babies as babies! My dad still has a picture of me in his wallet from grade 1. I am now 51 years old!!

What a swell picture! The wedding will be a milestone to remember, and no doubt, an inspiration for your art as well. I carry my own picture of the 5 year old me with my Nana since there is no one left to carry it for me.

I love this line. It's so beautiful. I have a picture of myself at 3 that has a similar feel: innocence, anticipation, and also a vulnerability. I hold that part of me close to my heart.
