heart absolutely

roses. you keep giving them, they keep fading and dying anyway, but they are beautiful for a short time.
dyed and marked, layered, used, stitched, removed, painted, layered, stitched again,
12 hours of stitching time, 12 more hours, 12 more hours, hours and hours.... the layers of wool change into a single piece of wool and I continue and continue.

For this post, the last and all: there are no words; just pure emotion.

each rose is like a day

and you use yours, like a rose
knowing something, acting.

preserving the essence of the perfume, the thorn like your needle
preserving the beauty.

Repetitive beauty....both visually and physically (and probably mentally), this brings much pleasure.

Cycle of life in cloth.

Oh, Judy, admittedly I am a bit unstable and feeling fragile tonight, but this post brought me to tears. In so few words you tell us a life story of dedication. I think of Rembrandt--that kind of dedication to the craft.
