I am expecting a curator to visit my studio tomorrow. 
The piece he is interested in is Not to Know, But to Go On, my daily stitching. 
I'm considering how to join the panels together. Each panel holds about two weeks. 
The paintings I had up for the July art tour have been relegated to a corner.
I also want to show him One Hundred Views of Wikwemikong - sketches that I've pulled out of journals from when we first moved to the island. 
I was enthralled by my view of the far shore across Manitowaning Bay. 
In a rush, I would write down the colours as they changed so extremely from hour to hour. 
This is a brand new piece.

To me, it's perfectly understandable that the curator is interested in your daily stitching. It's...well...so serene and powerful. Magical too.

well i'm extremely proud and it's well deserved. if i were a curator i'd take it all....before someone else does. your works are truly monumental and yet retain a flavor of the traditional...which makes it work even...no especially, work that a regular person feels moved by...the most basic blue collar joe sees that as art, and that's not the norm. way to go judy!

The visit did go well.
He asked me: "What do you really really want? What is your ideal?"
He said: "It's not your job to worry about touring your exhibit. That is the job of the art gallery. You just make the art, that's hard enough."
