Protection

protection study, wool yarn knitted and felted with metal buttons

Grace is moving to England on Monday. She wanted to learn how to make a Christmas turkey, so that was today's project. It's been great to have her home as this past week.

She came to the circle project with me yesterday.

not sure how the turkey relates to your image, but I like it anyway.

what a gentle photograph.

i read yesterday females are prone to pack on weight at times when they feel they need protection from the outside world.

is it terrible in conjunction with your daughters birth control sculpture my brain immediately went to another form of protection

funny these forms of protection are also circular in nature.

Have I told you lately how much I love your blog? LOVE it. I always feel at peace after reading your posts and viewing your fabulous works of art. This is probably why I check out your blog before bed time :) It leaves me with something sweet to ponder. xoxo

Nothing like watching a loved ones hands at work...

Have lived in England. A good place for a young woman to be immersed in a new culture, I think. She will have your armor anyway.

Protection for both of you. I feel I break my mom's heart every time I come and go. Hugs.
