When you consider something like death,
after which we may well go out like a candle flame,
then it probably doesn't matter if we try too hard,
are awkward sometimes,
care for one another too deeply.
are excessively curious about nature,
are too open to experience,
enjoy a non stop expense of the senses
in an effort to know life
intimately and lovingly.

So sad! How about --
When you consider something like death,
after which we go to meet a loving God,
then it probably does matter that we try hard, even though we are awkward sometimes,
since He cares for us so much, we should care for one another deeply, be excessively curious about nature, and open to experience, etc.
and at the time of death know that his grace will make up for our failures. MT
Judy, I rarely leave comments on your blog, but I enjoy your images and text a great deal...you've perfected saying a lot with few words.
I concur with Karoda. I visit almost everyday. Your postings are beautiful and poetic. Leaving a comment seems anticlimatic and feels cumbersome. Please know your work and words are very much appreciated and add something special to my days. Thank you.
