The weekend in Elliot Lake was very wonderful. The class I taught, Fabric and Paper Collage, went well, and the key note address by
Lissa Hunter and the fashion show organized by
Ann Suzuki were really worthwhile. It was affirming to be able to talk to so many artist/craftspersons from Northern Ontario such as
Keith Campbell, Murray and
Linda Finn and
Steve Irvine. Also worthwhile was the chance to put a face in front of the Ontario Craft Council director, Emma Quin and the Ontario Arts Council Visual Arts officer, Lisa Worhle. My congratulations and thanks are sincerely extended to the hard working organizers and many volunteers who put this event on. Thanks so much for including me.
