Quilting with Elva

Elva Lloyd worked on my new quilt "Not Defeated" for nearly two weeks. I was able to spend the last three days with her at her home near Kagawong, Manitoulin Island. We quilted all day!
THANK YOU ELVA! Your stitching is so beautiful.

I love the picture of Elva with your quilt. I have so much respect for hand quilters.

That is a fabulous picture. It should be on the cover of book or magazine. What a lucky person you were to enter her world and share that with her...smile

I agree with the previous comments. How I would love to have an opportunity to have done this with my grandmother. What a wonderful memory you'll always have of sharing this day and this work with her. Lovely thought, lovely picture.
