We were without power for 60 hours because of a huge storm that blazed across Manitoulin Island and continued east to Mattawa last Monday. Many trees and hydro poles were snapped. Actually, there is much to recommend an occasional lack of hydro. (candle light in the evening, swimming in the lake instead of showering) It's a reminder of how beautiful and sensuous life can be. I was OK until I also lost my phone connection. I guess I'm not quite the recluse I thought I was.

Maybe I Over React
We were without power for 60 hours because of a huge storm that blazed across Manitoulin Island and continued east to Mattawa last Monday. Many trees and hydro poles were snapped.
