Grow your own heart

How do you grow your own heart?

When we feel and support our own happiness, we are nourishing our ability to love.

You can't offer happiness to another until you have it youself.

Learn to love and heal yourself, then you have something to offer others.

I can’t enlarge the picture enough to tell — are you sewing the white patterns on the black circles or is that the fabric you’re using? Very interesting.

Hi, in regard to the black and white patterns, I am using a beautiful fabric designed by Marimekko from Finland. It would be possible to reverse applique these designs, but I didn't. I just stitched the printed cloth. It's a good question. xo

Judy~ Love this quote. Today while walking I was thinking about how do I find my voice...which in some sense feels like finding my own heart. My heart expressed? Thank you for the quote. The color of the ground cloth adds a nice warmth to something that could be so stark. :)
