i've been thinking about signature. of late, leaving it off. wondering if the work itself could be that. could i let it go as that?
Jude, you've given me something to think about.
I've always thought it important for artists to sign their work.

i've been doing mooncloths here as well. a natural outcome from my dyeing. Jude sent me here -this piece is a real beauty. as for signatures- i don't. i know what i've made.
Hi Judy, I love your work, I think it's mind blowing. I do a little stitching work myself and was wondering if you stitch by hand? Or do you use a machine - or a bit of both? cheers

I stitch almost entirely by hand. This includes the construction and the binding of my work.
Sometimes I do a little piecework on the machine, but not quilting or embroidery anymore.
And about the signature - I have thought about it and I do think it is important for the future. And for myself - I also like seeing the date embroidered onto the work - for me it adds another layer of time.
