I drove home from Kingston yesterday. Spring dots of leaves and blossoms made a serene show in the bush for the ten hour trip. These branches are a remembrance of the 30 minute nap I took around 3 pm, on a pull off from highway 17.
It was nice (and important) to spend quality time with this gentleman, my father, who turns 87 this month.

it's amazing what he's seen i'm sure. my grandfather died last year at 86 and i often think of the many stories and experiences that went with him.
Definitely a time to treasure. The photos you showed were both beautiful.
such a pretty bouquet...your dad seems a very kind gentleman indeed! So good you were able to spend some quality time with him.

love your stitching Judy.
I spend time with mum and dad each week. They are elderly and still live in the house that I grew up in. Its a luxury to be able to go and visit them and help them each week.
