I read Lorissa Sengara's article about Shary Boyle this morning in the fall 2006 Canadian Art magazine. "I feel connected to outsider art and the kind of work that is made by people who are intensely influenced by an internal world and the need to translate that somehow."
What remained with me throughout the day is the idea that Shary's work is based on her own personal emotions.
