I rarely take on a commission, but today I have been working steadily on a small wall hanging comissioned by Dr. Stephen Cooper. For Stephen's 40th birthday he wanted to do something with friends that was special to him and so he hosted a sailing race in the North Channel. The 1st "Cooper's Cup" race was a success and has continued to be a season opener for the Little Current Yacht Club ever since. In fact, The Little Current Yacht Club was conceived on the night of his 40th birthday in June of 2002. I love Stephen's idea of putting photos of the winning boats from each year onto the back, and have been been learning more photoshop skills.
