Mary Cassatt's paintings of women and their children were a very important inspiration to me when I was a young mother/painter. In 1860, Mary travelled to Paris in order to study painting. I've begun to wrap the letters that she wrote home with metal. Why? I have not figured that out yet. Dear Father
