I'm back on Manitoulin (with internet), after more time at the family cottage.
The people were slightly different and included my brother and his family, as well as April's friends.
The month has been devoted to family. Days are getting shorter.
Niece Sarah brought candles to get us through the evening dinners.

Your pies look delectable. Time at the cottage with family sounds divine - especially if that's your view!
A beautiful set of photos and the final one, with muted light, syrup tones, brings tears. I really enjoy your posts Jude. Gilly (I wrote to you once when you had a low point - long time ago now.)
how fabulous, candlelight dinners and those pies look so good!!
Those pies look delicious.
Your time at the cottage with your friends and family looks wonderful. How nice to have family time in this beautiful cottage.
Lovely to see all of your dyeing experimentations and to see your family joining in.
