Cocoons are casings spun from silk.
Cocoons may be tough or soft,
opaque or translucent,
solid or meshlike,
of various colours with multiple layers.

Insects that pupate in a cocoon must escape from it.

Hi Judy
Love this image. Presume its for your OPUS module - you'll put the rest of us to shame. Still awaiting my results but perhaps thats a good thing.

I love all of your interpretations of wrapped figures. They are very appealing, even the sad ones. I love reading your blog, it is so thoughtful, and your art work is beautiful.
