Over the weekend I read Gaston Bachelard's thirty nine page introduction to his important book, The Poetics of Space.  While I agree with (and use) his idea about poetic images resonanating with the viewer/reader's personal past life, his other idea about the poetic image being something new and arising from pure imagination makes me ponder.  I guess I'll have to read on.

The Poetics of Space
 Over the weekend I read Gaston Bachelard's thirty nine page introduction to his important book, The Poetics of Space.
