Marjan and Wim were here this past week and it was a lovely time. I learned some simple cooking techniques from her as she is very comfortable in the kitchen. They have spent the last six months in Canada. We swam, talked, and caught up on each other's children. She let me draw her three times wearing scarves or shawls so that I could practice drawing the draped patterns. They've left on the 1:30 ferry today, and will return to the Netherlands at the end of July.

Dutch Friends
Marjan and Wim were here this past week and it was a lovely time. I learned some simple cooking techniques from her as she is very comfortable in the kitchen.
