fragile

Humans are so very fragile. For the most part we are able to forget this. That we are fragile. That our bodies and our minds are very very fragile.

Beautiful, Judy. It mskes me sad to think about how fragile human life really is. When you're a kid, you think your parents and grandparents are invincible...that they are super human and nothing bad will every happen to them, and that they are immortal. It hit me when I read the caption that accompanied the last piece artwork you posted. I realize my grandmother is aging and that she is very frail. I realize my parents are aging as well. My father was talking to my student and I happened to catch the tail end of their converstation. It went something like "You are at the beginning of your journey, so make the best out of it. I'm near the end of my journey..."

It's amazing how life can be so beautiful, yet so sad.

Wow, I'd better sign off before I write you a letter of epic proportions! LOL!

I love your blog and your work, Judy.
