WOW!

Not highly intelligent, but accurate.

some projects are truly labours of time and love, days and weeks and skies with meadows floating,a memory piece

i just cannot work with a hoop!

I'm inspirited (I meant to write inspired!) by this post and your work Judy. I have a pile of eco dyed silk I have been collecting for a purpose unknown. This just might be a project for it. In the mean time I'll remain quiet and appreciate yours….

I love the word inspirited!

Changes in scale, materials and other familiar ways of working are so important for creativity!

this must feel so beautiful in your hands and so light !

"Inspirited." I, too, like the word unintentionally coined by Over the Rainbow. It fits superbly. Ah, the wisdom of the hand.

Like a silk dream. Wonderful work.

I like that . A silk dream. You are very right.....it sets me off into a day dream - meditation.

You know. You hold the land in your lap.

You remind us. Tend( er) ly.

m. said it well, it does look like land, like this beautiful earth, softened for sleep. it's very fine.

I am so thank full for this feedback. With my work, I hope that my viewer feels as if they are in a wide open space in nature. Like a meadow. Or looking over a body of water at the huge sky.

and that the sheer immensity of the work, in combination with the intimacy of the hand stitch, will be transformative in some way, and give access to that something very inner. Very huge inside us.
