Kiki Smith
I've been collecting drawings that I admire and copying them into a note book. This is a copy of one by Kiki Smith. Kiki says about drawing: " You make a mark, and then you make another mark in relation to that mark, whereas with a lot of my sculpture, I have a concept, and then it is labour. With drawing, you're in the present. In drawing, you take physical energy out of your body and put it on the page." Kiki Smith is profiled by the Museum of Modern Art.
