Loop Stitch

This is a new stitch for me. I am making loops around a wire cut from a coat hanger. The loops are then cut and trimmed evenly to give a carpet like effect. I am still clumsy with this technique and am even more appreciative of the beautiful jazz-like Kasai velvet embroideries than I was before.
