Blog update:
For the next couple of months, I need to concentrate more on the neglected website. judithemartin.com
My Process and Judy's Updates will continue as they are because they are both super easy to write, but the main blog, Judy’s Journal will morph to a photo journal (like today's post) for the next little while.
Although I will continue the monthly emails until at least the end of the year, I may switch over to substack for updates. We'll see.
Thank you friends, for your continued support. Never give up on your own creative practice.
Judy, it's always a delight and encouragement to see a post from you whenever they may happen.
ReplyDeleteAs these are such happy textile images I won't mind seeing more like them. :-) I hope your switch goes well and brings you joy!
ReplyDeleteAnd nope, never. Art first. Then laundry. xo
I wrote a comment this morning but guess I touched something wrong. Anyway, 'never giving up the art' are words to live by ...I try ! I have at least a dozen pieces on the go right now that are exciting to me but finishing them is hard. I feel all the fun has gone if when, now, I have to get down to choosing a background or mounting it to a frame....the drudge work. Is it still my art if I hire someone else to do the finishing...not serious😁
ReplyDeleteI love stepping into your space and process. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to the monthly round up emails!
