tradition

 
Some things are constant.
Some things are true.
Some things are traditional.

Traditions are about time.  They repeat.
Our experience of a tradition is different each time,  yet it is also still the same.
Pictured is a hand stitched quilt that was not made by me.  I found it in an antique store and like to bring it out at Christmas.

    I am so in love with the red and white quilt top I recently found in an antique store. Merely gazing upon it brings me such pleasure and peace. And that's what I send to you on the wings of a blown kiss : pleasure and peace . . . and the flavor of contentment only stitching can bring. x
