Hey friend...is it a Blue Moon day for you too....? I'm bubbling with the energy of it this morning before sunup in New York City...and ticking away the time here with adjustments on the details of a blog post. Your stitching is a calming wave that washes over my weary eyes.
These are beautiful pieces... we drove through the west of Ireland last week and stopped in a small town called Inch... the wind was pushing the waves so that they came rolling in great, low swells, something we had never seen before... these works of yours look like that moving sea... the wind was so strong, but there was something so calming about those low continuous washes of waves. Lovely.

ReplyDeleteThese colors are just wonderful! I would like to touch the cloth.
ReplyDeleteBest way I've found to mark major life changes - your or theirs - is through stitching. There's no better salve.
ReplyDeleteEverything smooth out like water again; you will make beauty of its calm and its waves.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors.
Soothing and contemplative stitching .... thinking of you.
