I finished stitching the red cupola shape yesterday. Ned made a photo stand and we did a trial run down on the beach. I need some publicity photos for the degree exhibition in England. I haven't got a name yet for the white piece.
Sails watching for the arrival of a boat.....I suggest you shoot them at Dawn and Duck as well and that the bottoms also be anchored at each corner so that they billow out like sails in a wind (the problem will be the wind...but you don't need much to get a billow). I'm in love with the idea here, and the landscape too.
I have been in love with the first piece since the first time you posted it. To see it outside, in it's element, playing in the wind...ah...perfection.
And the white piece - a sail, no doubt, but on what ship? Bound for where? With who/whom at the helm? Ah! There's a story there...
Hi Judy...can you give me the actual address for your degree show? can anyone go and view or do l need an invite or is it a private affair? I would love to go and see it..will you be able to come?xxlynda oh..l could offer you a bed if you need one.xx
