ReplyDeleteI saw Cross My Heart today at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. These are the last few days that the Quilt National work will be on display. I have been following your work and I am thrilled to have at last been able to see it in the cloth. Brava!

Yes, this project makes me very proud and happy. It is taking quite a while to do the four panels, but at least we do them. Every Thursday.

I wonder how all these wonderful people feel and what they think about participating in such a project. I almost never find people working together with no obligation (for a non-comercial purpose, I mean)
ReplyDeleteI found the Manitoulin Circle project and your blog by chance. Although I have not been to the Manitoulin for many years, I spent many summer vacations visiting my grandparents on the island in the 1950s (Hilly Grove area). This is such a wonderful community project and the panels are beautiful. I am a quilter in Virginia and look forward to someday returning to the island and seeing the quilted panels. Your website, Judy, is quite extensive and I have enjoyed exploring your galleries. I plan to share it with my quilt guild members.
