This afternoon was spent visiting Ann Beam, probably the most inspirational woman I know. We talked about art. We talked about being artists. I hadn't realized that I was so hungry for this kind of nourishment. Years ago Ann gave me this ten word mantra.
"If it is to be, it is up to me."
I agree, she's wonderful. I taught their daughter, Anong, years ago and they were terrific, supportive parents.
