I stitch this piece every day. I use one complete skein of embroidery floss and scraps of cloth that I find in my basket.It's about time, but not about the week or the season. It's more about the whirl of it all, the unending wonder of each day, the task of making time tangible.
How big is it and how big will it get?

ReplyDeleteEach piece is about 15 inches by 24 inches.
ReplyDeleteI plan to keep working on the pieces for at least one year.
So far, I have 4 completed - and am well into the 5th.
I began this on July 10. Each piece of fabric covers a two week time period (aproximately).
I have been invited to show this piece in a solo exhibition in 2012.
The curator is assuming that it will take the whole gallery space.
It's good to have this affirmation. It keeps me motivated to continue.
