unusually mild and gentle

Our Christmas in Toronto was a beautiful gentle family time.
We went for a walk Christmas day afternoon along Lake Ontario's beach.
It was so mild.
People were creating gigantic bubbles
 or paddle-boarding on the lake.
(we also did the usual stuff )

the boys in the blue jackets are my grandsons, everett (9) and jack (6)
the girls with pony tails watching in the 4th photo are my daughters, april and grace.
the note on the chalkboard was written by Everett, dictated by Jack.

the girls are actually in the 3rd photo.
Those paddle-boarders are not related but aren't they interesting?

It must have been glorious down there on the beach !
Family time is the best time ;)

Looks like Thanksgiving rather than Christmas in Ontario! I could send you a photo of snow if you'd like... :-) Blessings for the Turn of the Year...
