Absolutely! Yes. YOU.

It would have to be, have to be a wave. Motion, time, the water... fluid, womb. Life.

I also love the image of you stitching a few posts back, in the gallery setting, as a point of presence with the skein of work. Bringing the body, the act, the female breath into the Installation.

Happy Productive Keep On Keeping On New Year!

The shadows you've been able to create on the wall are fabulous. Well worth the efforts of suspending to exhibit. I love your intention in this piece. Beautiful.

Thank you all for your generous comments on this piece.

I just did a radio interview about the exhibition. So many things that have to do with putting my art up for the world to see in exhibition are hard for me. However, if the art was not shown, it would not be art. It needs to do that final thing, that communicating thing, and go on display....and so I put myself through these exhibitions and all the surrounding things, like formal openings and whether my hair style will be OK, I do interviews and behave like a diva to make sure that my work is shown and spoken about the way it was intended.

So, I do appreciate so very much this blog and those of you who take the time to comment here. In this blog I am able to take my time and express clearly what it is I mean with my slowly made marks. I'm not a nervous wreck here.

xx

Like this VERY much. So nice that a piece lives on in it's creative expression even after the initial 'making'...

It has been a great idea to hang this piece horizontally. And also the loops that can be seen at the back.
Congratulations, Judy.

I love the way you hung this piece Judy! Clever. Love the shadow the horizontal piece makes. The waves of time floating by. I hope the opening went well.
