Have a fabulous time in NY! I haven't really been there myself, except just passing through a couple times. And often I yearn to go. So enjoy it for me, too!
Wooo-Hoooo!Ha! I just sent you an email, and be assured, train travel is the most humane mode of transportation still....but bring your own snacks.

Oh! Have a wonderful time in NYC! The city should be gorgeous right now.Actually, you'll only be a train ride away from where I live in CT. Happy 25th to April as well!
You will love New York! There are some good exhibitions on now, well there probably always are. Have fun!
Oh...do enjoy...and like April says...all that train time for stitching Too!
The only time I was there was my first 6 weeks of life! So, I have never Really been there! Would have loved to have been able to go with my mom and learn about her life there :)
Enjoy! Wishing you travel mercies.
Echoing the well wishes. Be inspired n return safely. 22 more hours on return leg. Cheers Henrietta.
Have a great time with your daughter in the city full of inspirations.
I spent the summer as an "au paire" in White Plains when I was 16 (that would be 1969). I went into The City whenever I was off -- Broadway ("Mame" with Anne Miller), Radio City Music Hall, top of the Empire State Building, FAO Schwartz for toys, the United Nations -- once went in with another au paire and spent a happy hour trying on fur coats in Saks 5th Avenue! Have a glorious time. It is a special place. Visit the garment district. Buy fabric. Enjoy!
