stamina required

I've been pushing ahead on Water Moon, the third of the meditation panels of the Manitoulin Circle Project. Do I have enough persistence to keep going? Sometimes I wonder. It's such a huge project. Friends are visiting and today we all went to Misery Bay on the South of the island. A 'day off'. Ancient wisdom. Steady rhythm. Contemporary experience. Sense of wonder. Rekindled spirit.

I had to look really closely to realise that the image in the second photo wasn't quilted. Thank you for your words yesterday.

You have definately captured that rippled water effect, the gentle lapping of the water.

Glad Misery Bay rekindled your spirit.

I am always amazed to the see the progress of this quilt. I am so glad you are sharing it with us.

Lovely. That cloth is stunning. Gosh, so many of you stitchers have so much patience! I like the immediacy of painting, I'm not sure I would have the patience for even a few inches of that project!

Why is it called Misery Bay I wonder?
When the water looked so wonderfully cooling for the toes!
Amazing to see how your work comes together, it would be atreat to see it all in situ when the time comes.
