stitching in car again

One of the five stitching projects I brought with me is my daily journal, seen here at the beginning of the seventh panel. Ned and I began our ten day road trip through the central United States today. The colours are fantastic at this time of year. These Canadian trees are near Sault Ste Marie Ontario where we crossed into Michican at the international bridge. We were late leaving Manitoulin because it took so long to prepare my Quilt National piece for shipping. I am whispering this, as I am so very very thrilled to have finally made it into this prestigious show, I don't quite believe it!

Yeah to the QN acceptance! I still think we should have an alternate QN though too :)

I miss the reds and peaches from autumn--in Calgary it's all yellow on the trees..........

I used to live in Soo Ontario 30 years ago. Wow you really captured the fall colors like I've never seen done before. I've read of alot of people who did NOT get in, so congratulations! Your talent has always been evident in your posts! Love everything you do.

Oh Judy, this is such wonderful news to read this morning!!! Congratulations! I'm almost a bit emotional at the thought of seeing a piece you're created in person...I will be in the area next May and definitely have plans to go to the Dairy Barn.

Nice job today Judy. I managed to give you a link today. I met some nice people who follow your blog, but I was so distracted, at the time, I did not get their name.
