time is my subject

The raspberries went off, so I put them in a jar with some red wine, some water and two pieces of cloth. Day lilies only bloom for one day, are gathered in the evening. This is the first time I've frozen wild rose petals for dyeing. Appreciate the lichen patterning.

What a 'beautiful' post the photography is perfect the colours wonderful and the lichen... mother nature is so clever.

Your dyeing too, what a fantastic colour the raspberries and red wine give... I'd love to try it sometime....

I still have a few raspberries in my garden, but they have a bottle of vodka with their name on...

Raspberry vodka is very good on a cold winter's night..warms your cockles (my mum used to say that)and reminds you of summer.. but be careful if you make any, it is very strong.

Beautiful!
It's comforting to know I'm not the only one who collects the day lilies each evening.

Time spent doing something, time passing so quickly, lost time, day night spring summer, every day is the same every day is unique, getting older, birth and death, the time taken to really appreciate nature and art. Time is always the subject even when we are not aware of it.
