old world culture

Today we visited The Hague with our friends. The government offices are there, although the capital of the Netherlands is Amsterdam. Pictured above is The Knight's Hall. We also saw original paintings by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Rubens and Holbein.

Just had a funny moment. I was scrolling down and saw the picture and thought I know that place than two seconds later I realized it was a part of the country were I was born.

I hope you will have a great time in Europe. If you have the time do visit Copenhagen or Stockholm they are beautiful in spring.

Holbein! I loved his portrait of Sir Thomas Moore. Nobody did velvet like Holbein.
