I visited a dear friend from my Kenora life two times last week, once on my way down to London and again on the way back. Barbara wondered what had become of the fabric that her daughter Lee had brought back for me from Africa many moons ago. What had I done with it? When I got home, the fabric was right there on my studio table. Pulling it out and looking at it was quite exciting, especially after the energizing week I'd just had. Years ago I used a tiny bit of it in the wing of this memory bird.
