Kansas / Indigo

Here are examples of what I accomplished during the workshops I took before and after the Surface Design conference in Kansas City. The top one is from Sue Hammond West's contemplative painting class.
The lower one is actually three examples of Nigerian indigo dyeing from the class presented by Gasali Adeyemo. Now home on Manitoulin, I hope to have time to process what I've learned from these two classes as well as the many many exhibitions, demonstrations and lectures of the conference proper.
