ABstract EXpressionism and HIghway 17

The nineteen hour round trip drive between Kingston and Manitoulin goes so much more quickly with an audio book. This time I listened to Seek My Face by John Updike. This novel refers to the 50's and 60's art scene in the USA and is quite well done. The author used the art and life stories of such art giants as Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Lee Krasner and Robert Rauschenberg among others to create his fiction and gives an interesting perspective of that period in art history.

thanks for the reminder and the recommendation. I'm driving 8 hours to Florida on monday and haven't checked anything out of the library in some time.
